Television
Squires took over presenting duties for the ABC television sports program The Fat in 2000. He stayed on the program for the duration of its run, which ended in late 2003 when it was canceled. Tony joined the Seven Network in 2004 to host the rebranded and renamed 110% Tony Squires, a sports program that ran for just one season.
He joined Network Ten in 2008 to host Big Mouth, a panel discussion based on the reality show Big Brother. Big Brother was canceled after the 2008 season, hence the show only ran for one season as well.

Squires took over as the daily sports anchor for Seven News in Sydney in April 2010 from Alex Cullen. Jim Wilson took Squires’ position in August 2012. Squires also fills in as a presenter for Larry Emdur on The Morning Show and Andrew O’Keefe on Weekend Sunrise.
He quit hosting the sports segment on Seven News Sydney in August 2012 to become a reporter for Sunday Night on Seven, becoming the second sportscaster from the Sydney bulletin to do so after Alex Cullen.
He began anchoring The Back Page on Fox Sports in 2013, and he still does so today together with writer Kelli Underwood.
