Kiron Kanina Skinner (born 1961) is a former US Department of State Director of Policy Planning during the Trump administration. She was formerly the Taube Professor of International Relations and Politics at Carnegie Mellon University, as well as the founding director of the Institute for Politics and Strategy and its related institutions. In addition, she is a W. Glenn Campbell Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution. She has returned to her work at Carnegie Mellon University after leaving the Department of State.
