Since August 2020, Wes Peery, an American meteorologist, has been employed by KSHB. In Atlanta, Georgia, Peery is most recognized for her work as 11Alive’s Saturday morning meteorologist. He worked as a weekend meteorologist and producer of digital content for KLOR/KOZL in Springfield, Missouri, for almost three years before joining 11Alive, WXIA in May 2018.

He wanted to understand everything he could about the weather because he was sick of being terrified of it. He started chasing tornadoes all around his area as soon as he turned 16 and bought his first car.

Peery worked for three years as a weekend meteorologist and digital producer for one of his hometown news stations, KOLR. In May 2018, Wes joined the 11Alive weather team. He does, however, work as a weekend morning meteorologist at WXIA. Wes enjoys spending time with his better half and their adorable pets, playing lacrosse, playing the drums, and playing the drums.
