Taylor Coles was born in Tarrant County, Texas, in Arlington. Cole, who is Deborah Quinn’s daughter, was brought up by her mother and stepfather Shawn-Christian. Cole traveled with the Junior Olympics volleyball team while attending Mirabeau B. Lamar High School, where she also began her modeling career. During her senior year of high school, Taylor Cole secured a contract with the Los Angeles modeling agency Nous Models Management. She started acting in commercials for various companies, getting her first taste of the entertainment industry.
However, she started to lean toward acting, and Taylor was given her first acting job opportunity.
Cole briefly went back to her parent’s house, where her stepfather Shawn Christian helped her get the part of Erika Spalding in the TV show “Summerland,” which she co-starred in until 2005 when it was canceled.

After being cast as Shade, Taylor Cole’s acting career took off. However, it wasn’t until she co-starred with Brian Drolet and Hoyt Richards in the comedy film “Dumbbells” in 2014 that she attained international fame.
