In Miami, prominent American journalist Manuel Bojorquez serves as a national correspondent for CBS News. He began working for the station in 2012 as a correspondent located in Dallas. Bojorquez received a promotion to national correspondent for the network’s Miami office in January 2017. He also contributes to all CBS News broadcasts and platforms. Manuel has covered significant news stories in Texas and other Southern states. In July 2016, he was one of the first network news correspondents on the scene of the Dallas police ambush. He was a member of the team that won the Edward R. Murrow Award in 2015 for a story about a tornado that destroyed a section of an Arkansas town.
Additionally, Bojorquez has provided in-depth coverage from Latin America for CBS News, most recently in February 2016 during Pope Francis’ visit to Mexico.
