Kylen joined the KRON 4 News crew in September of 2020 as a sports reporter. Mills came to San Francisco after spending more than 3 years in Lex, Kentucky covering the Kentucky Wildcats. Some of Mills’ favorite memories/moments there include traveling with the Cats basketball team during their 2019 NCAA tournament run which fell just short of the final 4, covering the United Kingdom football team’s thrilling win in the Belk Bowl on News Year’s Eve as well as taking part in her station’s live specials at the Kentucky Derby.
In addition, Mills also received a Kentucky AP Broadcasters Award and was selected for a regional Emmy for Sports Feature Story.
