American author and political history professor Julian Emanuel Zelizer (born in 1969) teaches at Princeton University. Zelizer has written or co-written a number of works regarding American political history, with a particular emphasis on the 20th and 21st centuries.
Zelizer, who was raised in Metuchen, New Jersey, attended Metuchen High School, a public comprehensive high school, before going on to Brandeis University. His Ph.D. in history was earned at Johns Hopkins University.
