The CBS2/KCAL9 News has a meteorologist every weekday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Evelyn Taft is a distinguished American journalist, meteorologist, news editor, and director. She previously projected weather for KRON 4’s seven-hour morning show in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Taft holds membership in the National Weather Association and has been awarded the NWA Seal of Approval. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and resided in Los Angeles while she was a student at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Journalism.
