Sadly, Fred McLeod, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 9, 2019. It was verified by a source that Fred had suffered a heart attack. When Cleveland learned of Fred’s passing, it was felt all over the city.

The loss of their dear friend and teammate is mourned by the whole Cavaliers organization. In everything he did in and around the city, as well as during his more than 1,000 Cavaliers game broadcasts, Fred’s ardent love for Cleveland and the Cavaliers was extremely apparent.
