Is Beth McLeod Married? Beth McLeod Husband
For a long 28 years, McLeod was wed to Fred McLeod. Beth was a broadcast assistant for CBS Sports covering the NBA Finals in Los Angeles in 1988, and Fred was the Pistons play-by-play announcer at the time.
For a while, we merely became friends, says Beth. “I believe that things will always be good if you marry your best friend,” said the speaker.
Beth realized she had started to fall in love with Fred at that point. They had taken Molly, his daughter, to the park. She was possibly 3 years old and was covering her still-bald head with a bonnet.
“I think that’s when I knew I fell for this guy,” she adds, “when I watched him interact with Molly and realized what a great dad he was.” “I just wanted to be part of the whole group,” the woman said. “It was just so endearing, and then you add the other two kids in.”
In 1990, Fred proposed around Christmas. The following September, the couple wed at Cranbrook House & Gardens in Detroit. The wedding party included Sean, Jenna, and Molly, three of Fred’s children.
