Volodymyr Zelensky is a politician, actor, comedian, and producer from Ukraine who was elected president in 2019. He is, however, Ukraine’s first president elected without any prior political experience. President Volodymyr is Ukraine’s sixth president, presently in office. Zelensky was born in Ukraine on January 25th, 1978. He is 45 years old as of2022 and grew up in Kryvyi Rih, a significant city in Central Ukraine, as a native Russian speaker. His mother was an engineer, while his father was a computer science professor.

Following his graduation from Kyiv National Economic University. He became interested in comedy and founded the company Kvartal 95. Servant of the People was the most successful production of this company, which also created TV shows, movies, and cartoons.

Servant of the People was a tremendously successful show that aired from 2015 to 2019. Surprisingly, employees of Kvartal 95 formed a political party with the same name in March 2018. Zelensky formally launched his candidacy for the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election in his New Year’s Eve message and urged citizens to vote for him on New Year’s Day.

Despite his lack of political experience, he has received widespread public support and was immediately one of the front runners in opinion polls. Zelenskyy defeated Poroshenko with 73.23 percent of the vote. Zelensky promised to tackle corruption, confront Ukraine’s oligarchs, and put a stop to the Donbas conflict.

Olena Kiyashko, whom Zelensky met in high school and married in September 2003, is his wife. Furthermore, the couple has two children: Oleksandra, their first daughter, was born in July 2004, and Kyrylo, their boy, was born in January 2013. Zelensky founded and led the Kvartal 95 crew in 1997, which subsequently became the comedy group Kvartal 95. The Kvartal 95 team competed in the premier league and the Ukrainian KVN from 1998 to 2003. In addition, members of the team spent time seeing Moscow and even traveling to post-Soviet countries.

Kvartal 95, a TV production firm, began working with Ukrainian channel 1+1 in 2003, and in 2005, they moved to Inter, a Ukrainian channel.

Zelensky appeared in the popular film Love in the Big City and its sequel in 2008 and 2009. He’s also been in films such as Office Romance and Our Time. Not to mention the film Rzhevsky Versus Napoleon, in which he acted in 2012, and the third season of Love in the Big City, which he acted in in 2014. In addition, from 2010 to 2012, Zelenskyy was a member of the Inter TV board of directors and general producer.
