After five years as an anchor/reporter at WJTV 12 Jackson, Mississippi, Friday moved to Dallas in 2019. His biography states that he collaborated with sibling stations of the Nexstar Media Group during this period, including KLFY News 10 Lafayette, LA, and WISH Indianapolis, IN. Prior to that, Friday was an anchor for WSYM 47 in Lansing, Michigan. He began his career in television as a reporter for Mississippi’s ABC 6 WABG Greenwood.
