Seth Meyers was born Seth Adam Meyers on 28th December 1973). Currently, Meyers is an American comedian, producer, writer, actor, and television host. Seth hosts Late Night with Seth Meyers, a late-night talk show on NBC. Previous to that, Seth was a cast member as well as head writer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live (2001 to 2014) and hosted the show’s news parody segment, Weekend Update.

Seth Meyers Late Night
NBC announced on 12th May 2013 that Seth would be the new host of Late Night in 2014, succeeding Jimmy Fallon, as Fallon became the host of The Tonight Show. Seth assumed his duty on Late Night on 24th February 2014, and his first guest was former Saturday Night Live castmate and Amy Poehler, Weekend Update anchor. Meyers announced on 10th February 2014, that the bandleader for his house band “The 8G Band” would be Meyers’s former Saturday Night Live colleague Fred Armisen. More recently, Seth and his Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions company signed an overall deal with NBCUniversal.
