Rosemary Orozco Biography
Television meteorologist and American Emmy Award winner Rosemary Orozco works for KTVU. She initially intended to become a lawyer, but after becoming attracted by the news, she decided to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. Later, she attended MSSU to study meteorology. She was a Sacramento meteorologist for FOX 40 before she joined KTVU. She is currently employed with Oakland, California’s KTVU FOX 2.
Rosemary has also served as the Super Lotto Plus Announcer for the KTXL California State Lottery. She worked as a TV news anchor and a meteorologist for News Channel 3. Rosemary has also worked as a news anchor and reporter for KKFX My Fox 11 in Laughlin, Nevada.
Orozco studied at San Francisco State University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She subsequently enrolled at Mississippi State University where she graduated with a degree in atmospheric science.
