Children’s book author and illustrator Marc Tolon Brown hails from the United States. He has won three Emmy awards, and the television series “Arthur,” which was based on the novels, was ranked first on PBS for three years (1997-2001). From seasons 10 through 25, Brown also worked on the program as an executive producer. He is presently a Hingham, Massachusetts, resident.

As a child, Brown heard many tales from his grandma Thora. In the latter years of his life, he was motivated by this to create his own stories. His grandma encouraged him to draw, which he started doing at the age of six.
