Lisa Armstrong was born Lisa Marie Armstrong on 25th October 1976, she is a former member of the pop band Deuce and was a make-up expert for the ITV program This Morning, until becoming a make-up supervisor for the ITV quiz show Pick Me as well as its prime-time entertainment series Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Armstrong began her professional career as a dancer from an early age but when her friend, Kelly O’Keefe had work experience with a music management company and was asked to put together a band, Lisa joined Deuce alongside Kelly O’Keefe, Craig Young as well as Paul Holmes. Their debut single, “Call It Love” was released in 1994 January, entered the United Kingdom charts at #21, and served it’s way up to peak at #11. The band went on to release 2 more singles and an album before Kelly decided to leave the band in 1995 November and the band was dropped from their label. The band “Deuce” decided to continue on a new label and Kelly was replaced by Amanda Perkins, for one single, before they disbanded.
Armstrong later chose to train as a make-up artist, writing a column for Cosmopolitan magazine prior to becoming the make-up artist for many British TV shows like The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent as well as many of Ant & Dec’s shows. Lisa was also the make-up expert on This Morning, giving makeovers and also short make-up tutorials.
Lisa is now head of make-up and hair for BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing. In 2020, Armstrong was one of the Guest Judges on the make-up competition show Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star on Series 2, Episode 6.
