While at WGN-TV, Keenan’s primary duty was to provide Tribune-owned cable station CLTV with evening weather reports during the workweek. Furthermore, as a WGN staff meteorologist, Smith also featured on the noon and flagship 9.000 PM newscasts, filling in for Tom Skilling, a chief meteorologist.
