David Ring Evangelist is a Christian evangelist as well as a motivational speaker who has cerebral palsy. Since 1973, David has challenged thousands of people with his signature message – “I have cerebral palsy… What’s your problem?” He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and four children. Orphaned at age 14, Ring was cast about from family to family with nowhere to call home. In addition, David has been a guest on The Old-Time Gospel Hour, at Bill Gaither’s Praise Gathering and The 700 Club.

David Ring Evangelist Family: Parents And Siblings
David was born in Jonesboro, the seat of Craighead County in eastern Arkansas, the son of Baptist pastor Oscar Newton Ring. Ring’s father passed on in 1964. Cancer took Ring’s mother 4 years later after the death of his father, Oscar. David was thus an orphan at the age of 14. Depressed from the combination of losing his parents as well as the difficulties of his disability, David dropped out of high school. David attempted to commit suicide several times over the course of the following 2 years due to depression. But with the encouragement from his sister, Ring gave his life to Jesus in 1970.

David has been happily married to his lovely and wonderful committed wife, Karen Ring since 1981 and together they have 4 children; April Ring, Amy Joy Ring, Ashley Ring, Nathan Ring. Ring resides in Nashville, Tennessee. The two love birds have two grandsons, Carter and Cooper, and also a granddaughter, named Alexandra.

Ring attended Liberty High School in Liberty, Missouri, where he graduated in 1971. Later on, Ring obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Jewell College in Liberty in 1976, where he was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
