Kim Dickens Fear the Walking Dead

In the first through eight seasons of the American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series Fear the Walking Dead, she played Madison Clark, a shrewd and bossy guidance counselor, the mother of Nick and Alicia, and Travis’ fiancee.

She shot and killed her alcoholic father when she was a little girl due to the way he mistreated her mother. Till Travis altered the rules, she was ready to eject Brandon’s Group from the Rosarito Beach Hotel. The group watches as Los Angeles is firebombed by the military and is completely destroyed by a raging inferno. They also take Chris, who is catatonic and lying next to the body of his mother Liza. In order to get help from the Navy or border patrol, Strand tells them that he has sailed towards San Diego. While on board Abigail, Strand, Travis, Nick, Alicia, and Chris learn that San Diego has been completely destroyed by fire. Strand advises them to go to the coast to avoid a ship that is arriving quickly.

The captain thought that Catrina Island might have supplies and a short-wave radio. She thinks Melissa wants to get off the island but is frightened to say it.

Kim Dickens Treme

She portrayed Janette Desautel, a poor cook fighting to keep her restaurant open while awaiting insurance to pay her hurricane losses, in the American drama television series Treme. She had a friendly but tumultuous connection with Davis.

Kim Dickens’s House of Cards

In seasons three through five of the American political thriller streaming television series House of Cards, she starred as Kate Baldwin, the lead political reporter for the Wall Street Telegraph. Following the dismissal of her predecessor by Seth Grayson, Baldwin is transferred out of the Telegraph’s London office. Baldwin comes back to work, certain that she won’t experience a similar dismissal (as Grayson cannot be seen firing two female reporters in a row). She meets with Arnold Silva, the FEMA administrator, and bases her pieces on what he tells her about how Frank Underwood used FEMA monies for America Works and fired Steve Travers, the secretary of homeland security when he complained.

Baldwin later releases a story disclosing how US Navy SEALS were involved in a covert operation in the Jordan Valley, contradicting the Underwood Administration’s assertion that the death of a Navy SEAL at the hands of Russian troops was the result of a training accident. Later, she writes a lengthy opinion piece criticizing Frank Underwood and his authoritarian policies. However, her bosses at The Wall Street Telegraph won’t print it since it’s so different from her earlier work.
