Actor for both cinema and television in America, Jeff Fahey (Jeffrey David Fahey). At the age of 25, he began performing after being awarded a full scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School. Fahey played on Broadway as well as in venues all throughout the country. On the soap opera “One Life to Live,” he was cast as Gary Corelli in his first significant television role.
As Tyree in Silverado, Fahey played his first significant cinematic role in 1985. Additionally, he co-starred with Clint Eastwood in the Clint Eastwood-directed film “White Hunter Black Heart” and Marisa Tomei in the television film “Parker Kane” both in 1990. He appeared in “The Lawnmower Man” with Pierce Brosnan two years later.
After years of success, Fahey starred prominently in Robert Rodriguez’s 2010 action movie “Machete.” In addition, Jeff (2015) played Tom Rusk, the Secretary of War for the fledgling Republic of Texas who fought with General Sam Houston, in the History Channel miniseries Texas Rising. Additionally, Fahey participated in the 2017 UK run of Bill Kenwright’s adaptation of Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man.”
