Formerly, he co-reported the 11 p.m. edition of SportsCenter on ESPN, hosted various golf events for the channel, and worked as the co-host of SVP and Russilo alongside Ryen Russilo on ESPN Radio. Van Pelt left his radio program to become a solo anchor for a midnight edition of SportsCenter in 2015.
